Abstract

The article presents the adaptation results for “Baby and Infant Screen for Children with aUtIsm Traits (BISCUIT)” questionnaire for early diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in the Russian-speaking sample ( n = 105). We evaluated the psychometric properties of the Russian version questionnaire: internal consistency reliability, construct validity, criterion-related validity and item discrimination. According to the results of the adaptation, BISCUIT questionnaire has good psychometric indicators, however, cutoff scores should be revised on a standardization sample with a larger number of clinical cases. The authors thank Johnny Lee Matson for providing the research rights to use the BISCUIT.
