Abstract

The article presents the adaptation results for “Baby and Infant Screen for Children with aUtIsm Traits (BISCUIT)” questionnaire for early diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in the Russian-speaking sample ( n = 105). We evaluated the psychometric properties of the Russian version questionnaire: internal consistency reliability, construct validity, criterion-related validity and item discrimination. According to the results of the adaptation, BISCUIT questionnaire has good psychometric indicators, however, cutoff scores should be revised on a standardization sample with a larger number of clinical cases. The authors thank Johnny Lee Matson for providing the research rights to use the BISCUIT.

Abstract

The study is devoted to preliminary investigation Russian-language version of the questionnaire “Revised Parental Emotion Regulation Inventory” psychometric properties. The sample consists of 211 parents raising 1 child - 4 children, with 184 mothers (M = 36,5) and 27 fathers (M = 36,9). All five scales and total scale have good consistency (Cronbach’s alpha from 0.78 and 0.84). Moderate retest reliability (one month interval) is shown ( r = 0.75 to r = 0.61), which can indicate measurement of more situational characteristics of parental emotions regulation. Construct validity of the questionnaire was evaluated by means of correlations with scales that theoretically are connected with the emotional regulation in parents. It is generally acceptable. A higher levels of cognitive reassessment of unwanted child-related situations and suppression of thoughts about such situations were observed in parents raising children with autism spectrum disorders than in parents of neurotypical children. This indicates the criterion validity of the inventory. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis show incomplete compliance of the four-factor model with empirical data.

Abstract

The article presents the results of the examination of the Tolerance - intolerance of ambiguity new questionnaire on the sample of 505 subjects. The three factor model, suggested by T. V. Kornilova, demonstrated poor fit to the data. The exploratory factor analysis did not reveal the factor structure of the questionnaire. The results could be explained due to samples differences. The role of additional variables determining the dimension of the construct is discussed.

Abstract

The standard behavior based on the so-called legal type of control is considered. The mechanisms of modeling of required behavior through standard rules, ways of increasing its probability, tools of transfer of behavior in various situations are analyzed. The distinction of patterns of individual behavior, as well as its social forms facilitating the cumulative effect is made. The standard rules prescribe a order of actions in any situation. The standard regulation of behavior structurally reproduces the model of control of behavior due to existing consequences (i.e. includes guideline of conditions, expected behavior and its result) and can be analyzed with the help of the so-called ABC-scheme or formula SDR-C. It is indicated the functional role of the rule in the type of operation behavior. Moreover, it is mentioned the complexity of rule-governed behavior identification in the line of other behavior acts. The analysis of rule essence is paid a lot of attention to.
