Self-Perceptions, Parent-Perceptions, and Meta-Perceptions of the Interpersonal Efficacy of Adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Abstract
Предпосылки: как подростки с расстройствами аутистического спектра (РАС) воспринимают свои навыки межличностного взаимодействия и насколько точным является это «восприятие самоэффективности»? А как они воспринимают оценку их коммуникативных навыков со стороны родителей, и точно ли это «метавосприятие»?
Процедура: мы использовали циркумплекс2 шкал межличностной эффективности, чтобы оценить самовосприятие и восприятие родителями эффективности подростков с РАС (n = 22) и без РАС (n = 22) в широком спектре типов социального поведения, отличающихся по степени субъектности (от настойчивого и контролирующего до робкого и уступчивого) и степени общения (от дружелюбного и готового к сотрудничеству до настороженного и дистанцирующегося). Мы также оценили метавосприятие подростками восприятия их родителей и метавосприятие родителями восприятия подростков.
Результаты: родители подростков с РАС не были уверены в коммуникативных навыках своих детей (особенно касающихся установления контакта с другими и руководства ими), но они правильно предугадывали, что их дети будут выражать бóльшую степень уверенности, чем они. Действительно, подростки с РАС ощущали себя столь же эффективными, как и подростки из контрольной группы, и не осознавали степень, в которой их родители не разделяли их уверенность. Тем не менее, подростки с РАС и подростки из контрольной группы продемонстрировали схожие уровни соответствия между оценками родителей и детей и точности метавосприятия, касающегося условных сильных и слабых сторон подростка.
Выводы: подростки с РАС были слишком уверены в себе, что может защищать их от чувства разочарования, но лишь только если они принимают участие в общественной деятельности, которая может улучшить их социальные навыки. Наблюдаемое согласие относительно условных сильных и слабых сторон может позволить родителям и специалистам использовать сильные стороны для того, чтобы укрепить уверенность подростка в себе, одновременно работая с ним над его слабостями.
