<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This study examines the relationships between stages of readiness for rehabilitation, motives for psychoactive substance (PAS) use, self-efficacy, and existential fulfillment in individuals with substance use disorders. The study involved 50 inpatients undergoing medical and psychological rehabilitation. They were assessed with the “Motives for Drug Use” inventory, the URICA scale for stages of change, the General Self-Efficacy Scale (Russian adaptation), and the Test of Existential Motivation (TEM). Cluster analysis identified groups with different levels of readiness for change, which were then compared across psychological variables.Patients with high readiness for change demonstrated stronger traditional motives for PAS use, higher self-efficacy, and greater life meaning. However, they also showed unexpectedly higher self-harm motives and motivational tension, indicating ambivalence in their motivational structure. The sample was limited to one facility, and self-report measures were used. Further longitudinal and mixed-methods research is needed. This study integrates stages of change, motivational patterns, self-efficacy, and existential fulfillment, providing insights for refining patient profiles and tailoring rehabilitation programs.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>мотивационная готовность</kwd><kwd>реабилитация наркозависимых</kwd><kwd>самоэффективность</kwd><kwd>экзистенциальная исполненность</kwd><kwd>структура мотивов</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>motivational readiness</kwd><kwd>substance use disorder rehabilitation</kwd><kwd>self-efficacy</kwd><kwd>existential fulfillment</kwd><kwd>motives structure</kwd><kwd>addiction treatment</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Аксючиц И.
